Yes Joy I also got one in a smokey purple. I should have taken a pic of that one too but my camera battery died after these pics. So if I get a thumbs up on the style I will take a pic of the purple one. I don't know if I really need 2 though.
The pants are just like jeans only a really nice thick knit, no back pockets, no belt loops. Joy I'm glad to hear that you like yours so much and I can imagine they are great for travelling.

San, like yours, my pants are quite slim in the leg. I usually wear them with cute flats or low or wedge heels. They don't look good with flats with a high vamp like loafers or slides. Like skinnies, the pant legs scrunch a bit.
I'm still adjusting to jeans tucked into boots (feel like a pirate) so haven't tried doing it with these yet. I'm sure it would look fine and I would do it if the weather was cold and wet. Maybe this winter I'll work at sporting the boots-with-tucked-pants look more often.

Angie nailed it that this is out of my box and will take some time to get used to and see if I actually would wear it. The pants are keepers for sure.
The weather changing in a month or so will make a huge impact on what feels right to wear.
I'll try it on for my husband and see what he says.

Today was cool and cloudy but the forecast for the coming week is calling for hot weather again. I'd definately go with layers anytime in the Pacific NW.
