Rocker chic capsule

I decided I want to flesh out a bit of a rocker chic capsule. Here are some contenders:
3/4 are the same top, front and back
5 - the satin cigarette pants

10 - and I'm debating adding this mesh blush top to the roster.
I know in some ways it looks almost 80's video vixen, but I'm inexplicably drawn to it. Whatda ya think? Good for my capsule or meh?

EDIT: 11 & 12 - forgot my black dress and platform sandals!

Some good items here. I think that mesh blush top with those cigarette pants might be pretty awesome, maybe with the cropped jacket and those shoes in #7. I'm not sure how #2 fits in right now with the rest but maybe with the boots and jacket?

Texstyle, that makes sense that #2 seems like the odd guy out, but with the buckles and lace up and mesh it feels edgy to me.
Suz, some of these are back in CA, so I have to 'imagine' the combos together. I do have the LBD, crop moto and platform sandals here though, and might wear them to Fiona Apple later this month. It's more ladylike than rocker, but then so is the concert lol.

I think the new mesh top and the (Muuba?) jacket would be fantastic together. You could wear them with wine or grey, I guess black would work too. All of these items say rocker chic if you style them right, including the green lace up dress. I bet you have a few more things that would go rocker chic.

so, is this an activity-based capsule or a work-related capsule, cuz i want to sooo put rocker chick on my resume.

i'm meh with the blush top. seems like a one-off combo piece with the muubaa. seems disjointed with the darker bottoms.

Denise, I have wine and grey - but they're both cords. Skinnies, though, so they don't look woodsy LL Bean or anything. Could work with the Julia's . . . hmmm, you've got me thinking!

I am thumbs up too. I can see the green dress with the fry lace ups also....neutral on neutral to me! Maybe you need some rocker scarves, skinny like? to tie things together

Is this functional capsule, say for going to gigs or are you exploring that side of your fashion persona?

I do like the blush top if you can overcome the underwear issue.

I also know you have a tonne of jewellery that will further enhance your look.

Both? I do go to see lots of music, especially back in Tahoe, but I also like the idea of this slant to my going out persona as well.

I like all the individual pieces! They are distinctive and I think will look fab on slim tall you! I really can't wait to see more ways you will style them! They look perfect for a rocker chick!

How do you find gigs and lighter coloured footwear? I am always scared of beer slops ruining the leather.

Good point Jules . . . I guess there are different kind of gigs. Small pubs, casino showrooms, stadium concerts. Being a bartender, I'm no stranger to beer slops! In a crowded, pub style place I'd likely go with my black riding boots and say bring on the beer puddles! In the casino showroom, or stadium (if seating is assigned) I'd feel safer wearing my light colored footwear.

The type of gigs I have attented lately... the band emerges and the beer is thrown in the air, not great for the hair (or anything below).
