I just received my Anthropologie 'cocoon coat' (the Brienne by Elevenses) and I actually like it much better than I thought I would. Since I don't wear much red, I decided to order the 'yellow' which I would say is about the color of Curry. Or perhaps Ginger. I like this color for an accent color in the Autumn months.

But it came with a couple of wrinkles and I started wondering if they would steam out but maybe keep coming back. (One prominent wrinkle is in the collar.) Then I fast-forwarded to actually wearing the coat (probably as a lightweight topper in the early months of Autumn) and began obsessing about the coat attracting more and more wrinkles.

Secondly...since the fabric looks like it's wool but in actuality is a mixture of fibers (polyester, acrylic and wool) I started worrying that it might end up pilling. Which I detest.

So...even though I really like the cut of this coat and it fits me so well, especially in the shoulders (which is very hard for me to find) I'm wondering if it's a keeper. The price was reasonable.

Do you own this coat? Have you worn it? How is it holding up?

Thanks in advance for your reply, hoping y'all will chime in with your words of wisdom. FYI I'm not interested in ordering a 2nd coat to see if it's less wrinkled...I suspect mine looks like the typical coat when the shipping occurs in a plastic bag. The next one might be worse...
