I saw on one of your other posts that boots should fit nice and snug around the calf.

Does this apply to casual boots too? Like these Born Persimmon tall boots?

I tried them on and there is a 1/2 - 1 inch gap at the top and I wondered if I should return to Zappos. They feel good everywhere else but I do not want to look sloppy.
