You and I are the YLF colored tights rebels!

Somehow the first shirt doesn't look like it belongs with the rest of the outfit. I can't quite place why. Could just be my own weirdness.

Second outfit is cute.

So funny, Dawn- I was *just* reading this on your blog, and then came here and saw it. At first glance I felt similar to Maya- that the shirt seemed out of place, or too casual? But then I saw how well it coordinated with the shoes, and loved it :)

I have tights that colour, though I only ever wear them with black. I'm so boring, but I can't help it- I love my black!

Dawn- you are adorable, and I love seeing all of your outfits. You always look put together and fun.
I must say though, that the purple tights with the pink skirt doesn't work for me.
I like them much better with the blue dress, although I still think I'd much rather see the purple in another accessory than the tights. Maybe off white tights and purple shoes, or a purple bag?
BUT-- you're young, and have a great figure, so what the hey- if you like it and feel good in it, then go for it!

dawn, LOVE the tights with the navy blue dress. like everyone else, not sure about the first outfit. i think the lightness of the top is throwing me off...

I love the idea of the first outfit and think it may just be a case of finding the right shade of purple. These tights are slightly darker and more blue toned (I think) but show the different shades which are available

I think it *almost* works, Dawn. I’m lukewarm in this area as you know. It’s got to be more tonal to work in my book – even when you’re 23. Otherwise the outfit looks like a fancy dress costume. I seem to be in the minority with this opinion though.

So the Kate Spade outfits look fine to my eye for the most part. They are very sophisticated I guess. That’s another key element.

Dawn unfortunately I can't see the outfit (no blog sites seem to open in China at all - grrr!) but I wish I could. I love coloured tights! I have 2 purple and one blue pair that got a lot of wear this winter in Australia!!
