Merwoman - thank you! I'm still swooning over your max mara coat and accessories!! Gosh I can't imagine what damage I would have done if it came in a black/gray combo. But so gorgeous and I'm glad you will be wearing it!! I don't think I would ever take that coat off!!
DEB - it is an investment piece! If you can handle the sticker shock, I would try it on. You would need sleeves hemmed but that should be easy with this jacket!! Good luck - come over to the dark side little one!!
Sveta - I immediately thought of you (and Janet) even though there is no blue colorway. This is the EF link. No one has the charcoal but Nordies but Neiman Marcus also carries the allspice. http://www.eileenfisher.com/Ei.....4BAW-J2175 The sleeve run long, they come just below the thumb joint and I have long arms and legs so I think they would be a good length on you. I will definitely be wearing this as a blazer. It feels like the same warmth as tweed or plush wool but without the weight. I took my usual XS size which closes and fits plumb because I want to wear it as a blazer, just as shown in the EF photo. If you wanted to layer you might have to size up. I imagine wearing it from mid-sept until early june - so about 2.5 seasons. The price is the toughie, I had to pony up Sveta, if I wanted it, since Nordies is the only one with the charcoal. They've already sold out once totally in this colorway and just restocked and put it into stores. The allspice is more available. I would vote try on and stalk if you like it. Good luck!!
Janet - I immediately thought of you!! Of course, since I just lemminged the BCBG which is enroute (I ordered the medium - I am a 4-6 depending and hope it's not too big...). The top of the jacket is fitted Janet but it relaxes a bit in the hip area. I would recommend you try on the small. The XS fits me perfectly in the shoulders and I have no chest, it might be too snug on you. I think the small would be perfect on you and I think with the ease in the hips it could be a winner, but you'll have to try it on!! I hope it works out, it's a beautiful investment piece!!

Suz - Nordies has the charcoal and allspice in the XXS. I think you are a size down from me and I am guessing that would be the right size. No petite any where I checked. If you are serious you might want to try it on fast, the last stocking the small sizes did not last long!! Good luck!
