Hi Ladies,

Aussie Target has some nice culottes at the moment.

I haven't seen these in person but the Runway to Rack pieces seem nice quality. I did see another pair, a different in house label, that looked and felt quite nice too:).

TJ Maxx had some last week too. And much less expensive if someone wants to try them. They are one thing I will not wear. They just seem dumb to me. Why not just wear a skirt.

It has been years and years since I have tried on culottes LOL. I have absolutely no idea how these would look on me. Might have to check them out...

These culottes are at the Target stores near me, and given that I am in the midwest (United States), it is likely they have been in stores in more metropolitan areas for a little longer. I personally can't stand them, but I have seen them there.

I'm going to take a look at these next time I'm in Target. I really like them, and thanks for letting us know. I have a pair on my shopping list. They were shown numerous times in the AW14 Armani runway show, worn with pointy flats or heels with ankle straps, patent loafers and combat boots. To my eye, they look great when they are just above the thinnest part of your ankle, not mid-length which is how they used to be worn years back when I remember them first time around. On the runway, they wore them with jackets and hip-bone length tops and it looked very fresh.

Black was the dominant colour, but they also showed pale grey, which Target seems to have too, and a striped one that you'd have to feel bold to wear.

Such varying feelings about culottes:). I had no idea:). I really just think of them as cropped wide leg pants lol...does that make any difference??

I have winter and summer culottes and I love them.

Dimity do let us know how you go. Did you see they have a beautiful orange pair also?

I'm going to an engagement party this afternoon and you have me thinking I might just wear my culottes;)

Ooh! Yes, I did see the orange. The funny thing is that I have an extraordinary amount of orange in my wardrobe. I don't know how it happened. Actually, I do. There is a lot of it in op shops because people must buy it and then think the better of it. Anyway, I like it and it's still around on the runways (doing some chore avoidance here by looking at runway shows) and it suits me and it looks fab with grey, so hello, orange! Here I come.
Maybe I should get a harvest gold fridge to go with my flares while I'm at it.
