Sunday morning is probably not the right time to be throwing all this into a post, but we are leaving Wednesday and I would love some feedback.

We are travelling to Paris for four days and then will be in various family homes in New York and Florida for the next three weeks. The penny finally dropped and I realized that Paris is likely to be much cooler than we are used to. Add to that I will be staying in an ultra-orthodox section of Brooklyn for a few days and, out of respect for MIL, will need to wear skirts or dresses.

First the fun stuff. A few weeks ago DH sent me a travel advisory suggesting a zipped bag while in Paris. Oddly my favorite bags for these sorts of trips aren't zipped so the hunt was on. (I could have managed but this was fun for me.) And, amazingly, the red, vintage Gucci bag you will see in these pictures appeared the day before my birthday at a second hand shop for $20. It is coming.

The rest are options for Paris, and then the rest of the trip. I will also take a light jacket, a change of tops that work with all the bottoms, and a plain skirt.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome but i have specific questions:
#1 the shoes here are also a birthday gift, I love them but am not sure they are versatile enough for the trip. I intend to bring the black loafers, and the ballet flats in #6, sandals not shown, and my birkenstocks for around the house and back ups. Do I need the silver shoes too?
#2 Are these pants too much - my eyes might be over-adjusted living in harem pants land.
#3 This dress can also be worn over jeans - but is it worth bringing?
#4 What do you think? (LisaP if you are out there I swear I took this picture before I saw your Victoria Beckham thread.)
#5 and #6/7 If I were to take just one of these, which one?
#8 My dark chocolate peanut butter cup birthday cake, and I assure you there is not a crumb left!
