I was digging through my bookmarked links, and found this long-forgotten blog
The latest article is about the 1965 film, "The Great Race", and tells us, "Here’s what you can learn from Maggie DuBois about the great race of advancing your career and/or attracting a mate."
I have rarely been so entertained over my first cup of morning coffee. I love love love these silly 60's-attempts-at-a-period-film-but-you-can-see-the-60's-style-all-over-the-place-movies. I love the bambi-eyed makeup and the technicolor costumes.
Where can I find this movie?! And what lessons can I take away for styling my Anthropologie Edwardian-style coat that's been hanging in my closet these past five years? I can't wait to watch and find out.
