Photobucket collage

I keep seeing those wonderful collage things people are doing with photobucket. I recall someone posting about how to do it a few weeks ago? but can't find the thread can anyone help? x

I was wondering the same thing, Louise, and for some reason I have little success with the search feature on this site. (I'm sure that's operator error.)

What tech-savvy fashionista can point us in the right direction?

While were at it does anyone remember the equation? for making a word into a web link? I think it was ele or vani who gave it out and i lost it

It was in one of my posts... I'll see if I can find it.

Go to "edit" from any picture and along the top row their is an icon for 'EZ collage" click on that and you choose a layout and you're on your way.
Once you load your pictures into the collage, use the proportions slider to get the squares to fit your pictures. You can also drag the picture around in the square to center it.
Once you've done all that, click "customize" and that will take you back to the editing page and you choose "save copy" and you're set!
To share the large version of the collage, right click on the picture, select "copy image URL" and in your post, right click and select "paste" This technique displays any picture in full size form without taking the viewer to your photobucket account... which you may prefer.

Are you referring to the Photobucket Scrapbook feature? When you log into your Photobucket account, it is the sixth tab over, next to Slideshow which is another of my favorite features. The program, Scrapblog, is very intuitive. Just make sure your popup blocker is disabled.

As for linking a word to a website, the HTML code is:

<ahref="http://youlookfab.com">Viola

All you have to do is place a space between the a and href and:

Viola

Not be picky, but I can't help it since I'm a software programmer and a stickler for proper code You have to tack on a "" at the end of what DressLover posted

I won't know if this worked until I submit it, so here goes...

Multiple edits later: Vani, on this forum, including the final space in your string creates some problems. If you put in that space, it doesn't interpret it as a close tag and renders the characters instead of using it as a tag.

(No, I do not know what I'm talking about -- SO is talking me through the explanation...)
