The Austin crew went out today and we hit the sales at a local upscale outdoor mall. It was really fun! Patience and Sarah made out like bandits. Hopefully Sarah will take photos of her stuff this weekend, since she's gotten a lot of nice things since she last posted photos.

I took a picture of Patience's purchases today. She picked up the two AF blouses she purchased earlier in the week, and also got this killer Marc Jacobs skirt. She and I have both been coveting it, and she found her size today on amazing sale.

Here it is with the other Anne Fontaine blouse that you all haven't seen yet. It's not the greatest picture, since I took it with my cellphone, but the blouse has 2 rows of little box pleats on the arms, and a row down the front over the buttons. It's a bit out of her box, so we're very excited about it, hee:

You can see Sarah trying on a cute polka dot Marc Jacobs top in the background (which she ended up getting). It looks great!

Wow, both the blouse and the skirt on Patience are absolute killers! What I can see of Sarah's top looks great too. I hope she will post photos of her stuff soon.

Ana, I have also been coveting that skirt! Sadly, last time some site had my size it was still waay too expensive for me to justify considering how rarely I get to wear skirts. I guess I shall have to live vicariously through Patience.

I too had my eye on that skirt (in fact I think they made a version that matched the bramble tweed top I fell in love with). It looks just as good as I'd imagined it would when I see it on Patience - so she gets to take it home!

Thanks, Ana, for posting the pic. Thanks, Laura, Tanya, Ana, and Antje for the compliments. The MJ skirt is wonderful-- I'd had my eye on it too. Sarah tried the skirt on too and even though it was the wrong size you could easily tell it was killer on her. In fact, I made a pact with Ana and Sarah that they both should get the skirt too. Tanya, Antje and Laura, you should too. It can be the official YLF skirt.

Patience, how would you say is the sizing on the skirt, compared to say, your J Brand jeans? I have never tried on anything MJ before. I am guessing 2, but am not sure. In jeans I am 26 in J Brand, 7's, Citizens and Joe's and 27 in Paige and R&S. This is just in case I find it online on some killer sale

Tanya, I'm actually wearing a 4 skirt and I wear 25-26 size jeans. I might end up taking the skirt in on the waist so I'm sure you would have to do that but it runs snug through the thigh-- the 4 was perfect there on me. I'd guess it would work for you too.

Yes, San, I'll wear them together. I don't know that I would have bought the skirt but for Ana's brilliant idea on the outfit.

I think I saw that exact same blouse at the AF store over here Patience, and it was one of my favourites in the shop. It simply is a gorgeous blouse and I'm glad you stepped out of your box with the ruffles, you look amazing.
And I'm so glad Ana thought of that outfit, because the MJ's skirt is divine as well.

You got yourself some incredible statement pieces this week. Wow!

Love that skirt. I definitely want to get one. Even though they didn't have my size, I tried on the size 6 and I could tell that an 8 would fit perfectly. I love this skirt and I am going to keep my eye out for it.
I had so much fun with Ana and Patience yesterday! I have to wait till tomorrow to have my husband take photos. My self-photos just don't turn out very well.

I think Patience bought a size 4, and I am going up a size to an 8 because the silk is not the least bit stretchy, and kind of tight around the hips.

I can only find it in my size on a different site, but it's full price.

Oh, thank you Ana, I think I'll probably need a 4 too! Sadly I have already spent this month's clothing budget ( it didn't take me a lot of time at all). So if the skirt is there in three weeks, I'll snap it then.

Thanks Tanya! I know what you mean, I already spent a lot on the recent sales too, and I'm trying to stick to my fashion goal of basics and accessories. I did make a pact with Patience and Sarah though, so I've made an exception for the skirt. It would be nice to find it somewhere on sale even a little bit.

That's really interesting Tanya! Hmm....it's hard to say. From what I can see, I think it's actually a mix of tweedy red and hot pink. I'm not sure, and the sale items on that site are final sale right now, so I'm kind of worried about taking a chance on an item that might end up a wardrobe orphan. I kind of prefer the fishnet pattern as well. That's the site that has the grey one in my size though! Darn 55% coupon doesn't work on Marc Jacobs stuff (sad face).

eluxury is where I found the Marc Jacobs navy dress this morning - with the 33% off and free shipping it was a better deal than anywhere else too.

Bloomie's had the fishnet pattern skirt up until a couple of days ago - it must be selling out fast everywhere.

Well, all I could find is that same site you were mentioning with the full price. Maybe it will go on sale soon.

One final idea: Nordstrom used to have it on the site, but not anymore. I have heard about their famous search, where you supposedly call them to find you your item in your size in any of their stores and then they ship it to you. I don't know if it is possible on the items that were sold out on the site, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to call&ask. All you need is the item number.
