DH and I spent the weekend visiting our college boy in Ohio...and I felt chic and fab the whole weekend. Several of my son's friends complimented my looks, which made me feel fab! "Your mom is so cute!'" was my favorite comment. Fashion-forward son totally approved of my new Free People army green military jacket, tweed blazer, and Frye boots to bookend my hair.
That it was also my 50th birthday this weekend made it all the more special. I was too busy to take photos, but I plan to recreate my outfits and post this week.

#1-2: Friday - woven black blouse and necklaces for pizza and being the guest dj's on our son's radio show (SO fun!
#3-4: Saturday - tweed blazer and necklaces for tailgate lunch, walking the campus, birthday dinner, and campus concert
#5-6: Sunday - Free People army jacket and scarf for lunch and good-byes (sniff)
