Friday and Saturday, combo post: Work, then a new outfit for NAS shopping, and then Saturday's errands in long leggings and my favorite knit dress. The two green tops and the purple camisole got lots of comments at work, mostly good I think.

I know you guys down south are melting in the heat, but it is just starting to feel like spring here! It's crazy. We all hate it.

Great outfits Kristen!
I understand about the weather, Boston has been a disaster, we have had virtually no summer. It is just starting to get a bit warmer but rain comes every other day.
I think my favorites are:
The orange dress, the outfit with the white pants and the one with the pencil skirt. You are looking so pulled together, stylish and playful!!

We can't complain about the weather in Seattle - it's been sunny and warm with no end in sight. It's going to be VERY hard to adjust back to 65 and cloudy whenever it comes. :-0

Love your use of color once again! Pink sweater, green tops, mustard cardi (you are dead on - the best choice for Fall), Mulberry jacket.

On your self imposed shopping ban - you have rebuilt your wardrobe to a great point so really using everything and finding new combinations should be doable? Also, I would add that gifts are acceptable.
Loved how Sal used her $10 per week in thrifting in her "ban days".

Hee, I knew you'd like the leggings, Angie and Laura. Too bad they only have a 2-day window of opportunity in my wardrobe! I do have some vacation days coming up; maybe they'll get more wear then.

So glad so many of you enjoy the colors; I have a blast figuring out new combos of them, and trying new shades together. (Alecia, that was purple and yellow together, not black-and-yellow. I'm still shying away from putting those together, but I might have to take that as a challenge!)

Chris, I am finding that the real fun of the shopping ban is that I have to focus on what I have, and it turns out it's quite a lot! I was just musing on the blog that it's so weird for me to be able to pull out a sweater I bought a month ago and have it still fit! That hasn't happened in a long time -- I'm not actually used to the concept yet.

Whoops, time to get back to work.

Very nice, very nice. I really like how you combined a scarf with a necklace. The orange dress also caught my eye, such a lovely bright color that compliments you very nicely. The color mix of blues and greens on Friday is also great. I love when similar colors get together in an outfit. I can see you are enjoying the summer by the wealth of colors in your outfits.
