I haven't read the articles yet but I couldn't wait to tell you how great you look on video, Michelle!!

The outfit really was perfect for this, from all sides and angles and close-ups of your cute shoes. And your haircut - seeing it in motion (at one point you are bending over to unleash Reva, and you can see the layers in the back) - it's fabulous. Your attention to detail paid off.

But most of all, I have to say what a thrill it is to hear your voice. You have the sweetest voice.

Of course, Reva is beautiful too ... but you stole the show.

You have so much confidence and you radiate so much positivity! And your outfit is perfection... there are many up-close shots of your shoes and they are SO CUTE.

I just read the article about your training with Reva and it was written with such superb imagery that I was able to picture each experience you described. VERY well written.

My favorite line from the article:

Wow, Michelle! I don't think I knew you were a reporter. You're so natural and comfortable on camera, and you looked fabulous! I love your haircut, it's so fun to see it "live." I never realized that "Seeing Eye Dogs" were from a specific school, I always thought it was just another term for guide dog. :)

Your did a wonderful job choosing your outfits for the camera and you are very photogenic. I love the top and jeans together and I agree with the others that your shoes are adorable! The cobalt dress in the news article is absolutely stunning on you!

It's amazing to see how Reva transitions from a working dog to a playful puppy once the harness comes off. I am so glad that she is rising to meet the challenge and I hope she's every bit as wonderful as McClure.

Michelle, thank you SO much for sharing these. I loved seeing you in video- you looked gorgeous and I'll echo what others have said: you have a lovely voice! Your accent makes me curious as to whether you grew up in Toronto, or elsewhere in Canada? You sound much softer and more measured than I do, for instance. (Though my embarrassing twang might be more influenced by my mother's prairie roots than by growing up in Ontario.)

I also really enjoyed reading your articles, they were both informative and very interesting. You're a wonderful writer!

My favourite part of the video was actually seeing your apartment, briefly at the end. It reminds me so much, in finish and layout, of my old place in Toronto, I'm sure they were built around the same time, perhaps even by the same developer. It was nice to see :)

Elle, I'm Toronto born and raised, but you're not the first one to say my accent isn't typical. Most of my family is Quebecois...think that could be it?
And for all those who liked the DKNY flats, I highly recommend them; they're insanely comfortable as well as cute!

Michelle, I saw the pic of you in Metro (haven't watched the video yet but hoped to) before seeing this thread and thought "Hey! That's GOT to be YLF Michelle! It looks just like her, and who else would have such a stylin' coat?" So I came on to see if I was right and I was! Wow, how very cool that you were interviewed and photographed like that! You looked great and I just want to cuddle Reva (only if she's off-duty, of course!).

Brianna! They put that pic in Metro vancouver? Crazy! :) It got published in the t-dot, of course, but I didn't think it would get picked up beyond this city! So fun that you recognized me...and I'm only stylin' now thanks to all you lovely YLF people! I'm actually wearing the cobalt dress Angie picked out for me at the Nas in that shot.

I echo everyone's comments that you look great. I especially like the picture for the print piece. That cobalt makes you stand out so happily from the rest of the folks who are dressed in drab tans and black. Well, there is one lady with fluorescent red hair, but you don't immediately notice it. The viewer's eye is drawn to that elegant blue and you!
