OT: Quick Hello! - YouLookFab Forum

Hello everyone!!

Just wanted to pop in and say hello! Life has been a little bit crazy in the past few weeks, and I haven't even had time to read the blog let alone read the forum

Georgie has recovered 100% from her tonsillectomy, but both girls have had a bit of a cold/fluey thing, so that's taken its toll on them. (G has stopped snoring and even when sick, wasn't that bad - so I'm already VERY happy with the results of her surgery!).

AND... my university course started 2 weeks ago, and by 10am this morning I had my first assessment piece due... So, it was very full on for the first 2 weeks - getting used to studying again, doing the work, and preparing the submission. But, I managed to get it done (and keep up with most of my normal life!), and am having today off before I get started on this week's work tomorrow.

So, today I'm washing, ironing, cooking, cleaning and catching up on my latest edition of my magazine subscription (fashion!), and hopefully later today I will get back to read some more!!!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi!!! Hope you are all doing fabulously

I can't wait to see what you gals are all wearing as Spring takes hold in the NH, and what you more Southern girls are wearing in our Autumn - besides days and days of rain, it may as well still be the middle of summer up here!

I'm so glad to hear that Georgie has fully recovered and that the girls are getting over their case of the sniffles. Wow - congratulations on the uni course! This is exciting news. What are you studying?

Anyway, I guess I'd better get going, I just popped on here for a moment myself. Life is sure getting busy at the moment!

I'm studying a single unit this study period - Art & Creativity - but as long as I don't fail miserably, and my tutor doesn't tell me I'm completely inept, I will eventually complete a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Fine Arts & Visual Culture.

I'm taking a leap of faith really, because I have no idea where this will lead me, but its content is exactly what I want to study, so I've decided to embrace it and see what happens! I can do Education afterwards and become an art teacher, so there is always that if nothing else comes of it

Best go finish that giant pile of folding I didn't get to yesterday!

Oh, Theresa, your course sounds fantastic! Just the sort of thing you were thinking of after your interview all those weeks ago.....well done, you! Don't be afraid to ask for help with the girls when you need it, you can always return the favours during semester breaks. I studied when my kids were young and my friends were SO supportive.....it was hard but I've never regretted it.
