I think that's a great outfit. It's polished but looks comfortable and cool. I think the cream bag adds visual interest. That bag's a keeper. The only think I think it might not work with is an optical white top.

I think the pearls are fine, but a great chunky strand will do even better. You could then make the smaller strand into a bracelet perhaps.

Thanks, girls. Alecia, you got it right on, I wanted an outfit that will keep me comfortable when Toronto decides to shift into humidity overdrive, which happens way too often in July and August. Glad you think the bag works, and thanks for the caution re. optical white. I can always use my red bag for interest there. Does the cream bag stil work if I'm wearing white sandals? I'm guessing there would be enough distance between the items to make it ok, but am not totally sure. Oh, and exactly what colour would you call the top and the flowers on the skirt? The salesperson said it wasn't quite turquoise, but the boyfriend says it is.

You look wonderful, Michelle! That is a super fitting sleeveless button down and pretty A-line skirt – the prefect ensemble recipe for hot weather. I can’t see the flowers on your skirt closely enough but they look like a green shade of turquoise to me and blend perfectly with your top. I guess boyfriend was right!

The bag is a very light beige, and a little darker than cream and looks good. Definitely worth keeping. Won’t look bad with white sandals, but metallic sandals will look better. Hope that helps.

I would definitely call your top/flowers on your skirt turquoise, but it's one of those colours that people can never seem to agree on. Some say blue, some green, it gets even more confusing when you bring aqua into the equation. Suffice to say, it looks perfect!

The A line skirt looks lovely on you and the color of the blouse is great. I'm not so found of the color of the bag, I pesonally prefer a darker shade of cream.

The bag looks pretty similar in colour to one i bought at the weekend it was sold as bone colour. So i'm another vote for keeping the bag. I love the outfit x

They are very pretty pearls. If you have a second, longer strand in same color and size pearls, you can wear them together. Or you can layer a second strand of black pearls with them. Or you could try pinning a big brooch on the strand or hanging some sort of pendant from it, to funk it up.

You look lovely and perfectly dressed for summer. I think the bag is great and a nice shade of off-white. The blouse is a lovely shade on you. Turquoise is a word that is used to describe various shades of a blue-green mixture, some are more blue, some are more green. There are also darker versions of turquoise, the lighter one is sometimes referred to as aqua.

I love this outfit, Michelle. It's a great color, nice cut- very flattering, and I like the bag, too. I don't care for the pearls, though. I think they look too dainty and old fashioned. Maybe you can find a cheap necklace that could take it's place?
