I'm seeing this late but wanted to say I'm so sorry this painful condition has flared up again. You are wise to give yourself time and space to rest and recover.

I, too, was going to suggest Dragon dictation software but then saw you'd written that it's not effective for your needs.

Take good care of yourself.

Do what's best for yourself and your health. Hope the flare up resolves soon!

I hope you feel much better very soon, rest is the key.

Hope you have a peaceful and relaxing break. Inge will make sure we're behaving.

Oh Angie! Big hugs and best wishes for a full recovery!

Angie, so sorry to hear you are experiencing pain again. You are in my prayers and trusting your back on that keyboard in no time... we miss you

*chuckle* @ AJ :-))

Hope you feel better soon!

We'll miss you, but you do need to rest and recover. I hope you feel better soon!

Hope you feel better soon.

Oh dear, take care of yourself, Angie! We will miss you

Rest up, Angie! Hope you are feeling better soon:)

Rest, rest, rest! I hope you feel better very soon!

Angie, I so understand and I empathize and send healing light and love your way. Rest is the only way to heal and muscles and nerves take much longer to heal than even broken bones, I've been told, BUT they DO HEAL.

Please consider sleeping with your arms as straight as possible (I'm a side sleeper and keep them that way, between my legs) and consider using voice-activated typing methods, if you can. A compression band may also help, depending where your pain is located. A rotation of ice and heat combinations, and especially ice may help, too.

There IS a pain-free future, for sure. Now, I honestly hope you're not reading this, because then that would mean that you are resting and away from the keyboard.
