... needed its own post. I love the sporty cording in the funnel collar and the subtle seaming on the front. Not even that spndy! Sigh...

So jealous of the ladies in Canada right now. I know I could have one shipped to me, but the size charts don't give measurements, and I clearly don't have Danier near me. I need to stop going to their website.

Rae - I can always pop into my local Danier and measure the jacket for you? Shoulders, chest, waist, arms and overall length....sometimes what is on the website hasn't made it into the store yet, but I can check.

Rae, email customer service -- they will send you measurements. They sent me their fit guide measurements, and also particular jacket measurements.

Ooh, now I really hope they respond with what I want to hear, lol. Glory, I love a good enabler. I may have to take you or shannonup on that if customer service doesn't have enough info. Anyone know what Danier uses for lining?

Totally drooling over this one and pretty much everything I see on the danier site, too. I can't seem to keep myself away from it either, why do we torture ourselves like this?

I like this one 1000x better than the earlier one from today. Not to encourage the purchase or anything.

The linings vary on the jackets Rae - some are silk blend, some are polyester, some are cotton. It depends on the jacket.

Oh, rats. That means I should have asked about the lining when I wrote Danier.

I did get the general sizing chart, though, and I'm smack dab in the middle of an XXS (33 inch bust) and an XS (35 inch bust). If I remember correctly, the rec is to size down when this happens?

I think I'll try to find out more over the phone tomorrow. Meanwhile, I must get off my tush and list more things on Ebay...

Mo, I don't think I'd have the heart to get RID of the Bebe... I do love it so! I can still wear it to parties or out with girlfriends... things that involve mostly sitting, standing, or strolling. If the Danier isn't lined with poly, I could use it for work, out with DH... things that involve walking, hustling, etc. Although I guess if I end up getting this one and it's awesome I might feel better about a full-on replacement.

so it's just a matter of lining material? I wonder if having a tailor re-line the one you love would be possible, and cheaper than finding a replacement. Of course, if the Bebe does end up needing to go, you know I'd be a fantastic foster parent, right?

I think it is the pleather as well. The knit inserts help, but not enough when I get going. If it moves on, then you are the first I will let know!
