Here's the complete set of outfits at once. I apologize for boring you all to tears, please do not feel a need to comment about the outfits themselves -- you've already seen them and the document is mainly for my own purposes. I'm going to post what I learned and some thoughts in a separate thread. For now, just the inventory.

In my current fall/winter rotation, not counting special occasion wear, footwear, coats, gear, sleepwear, and layering bits that don't stand on their own, I have 50 items. (Slightly more than my original count a few weeks ago - I had left out a few transitional items that I decided to count because I actually wore them this month.)

Here's the breakdown of what is in the closet, and what I actually wore:

Knit tops: 14 (wore all 14 at least once, most repeated)
Long sleeved shirts: 13 - (wore 7 at least once)
Skirts: 3 (wore 1)
Dresses: 4 (wore 3)
Pants (not denim): 5 - (wore all 5 at least once)
Jeans: 7 (wore 6, most repeated)
Jackets: 4 (wore 4)

Tall boots — 2 (plus one old pair for rain only) (wore 2)
Booties: 6 (wore 5…one unworn is dressy)

Of the unworn or seldom worn items, most are transitional in nature. For example, it might seem as if I have too many long sleeved button up shirts. And perhaps I do. But I don't like to layer my crisp shirts very often under a sweater. And I do like to wear knits on my work at home days. So that means those shirts tend to be used as stand alone items in my transitional seasons more than they are worn in cooler temps. The jeans I didn't wear were my boot cuts, due to the change in weather. The dress I didn't wear was my dressiest non formal dress. The booties I didn't wear are the dressiest ones. The sweaters I wore least were my warmest ones (we are just moving into the colder days now). So there were good reasons not to wear what I didn't wear, or to wear it less often.

I didn't have any trouble coming up with outfits. I didn't have laundry log jams. I didn't feel at wit's end attempting new combinations. I did, of course, repeat items, some multiple times.

Most worn items include:

Zara navy booties
Leopard belt
Munro cranberry booties
BR floral scarf (cranberry, fuchsia, navy tones)
J. Crew toothpick jeans (7 wears)

I conclude from this that I have the right number of clothes for a month of non-repeated outfits. IF that is a goal...

Bonus shots of the cute hotel I got to stay in when I went to give my presentation/ workshop -- and the restaurant right down the road!

Further reflections to follow.
