No more grey sweaters for me...

I did some sorting today and I have 6 - SIX - grey sweaters. They are all different in length, style, and material (cardi, cropped, UWP, boxy, etc). But SERIOUSLY? Sheesh.

Do you have a lot of a certain kind of non-basic item (color, style, type)? Where's the line for you?

I have a lot of gray/black A-line/flare skirts - but they're like my uniform

I have one in light grey; one in dark grey; one in black and one in heathered grey!

I have only 3 grey cardigans--does that mean I can still buy more Off the top of my head I have at least 4 black cardigans. The truth is for all of these though that the weight and fit is different, and they are really not interchangeable, especially when it comes to layering over dresses. Different fit and lengths work in different outfits. I do have 3 short sleeve military-style dresses in neutral colors. I think that is enough

And now I'd suggest give yourself a theme, sorry, the challenge to create outfits around all of them to see if and how they all work for you. Not in a week of course, I think a week of gray sweaters would be too much, but over a certain period of time. Just focus on them.

My basic items are:
- 3/4 sleeved tee shirt with double front (genius had invented that, no clinging!) from a particular brand. I keep checking the website for new colors as I know I'll wear the life out them all.
- turtlenecks.

I have two different sweaters -different shape, style, material- in the same exact shade of green. MNG was all over that color two years ago, I guess. The green looks not very good against my skin, but oh well, right? Also, I have this obsession with purple that not even I understand. Too many purple items. I don't have anything grey though, it looks even worse than dark green next to my skin lol
