Our New Years Eve party plan was very casual. We met friends for dinner at a Korean restaraunt. We were considering going to see Sherlock Holmes but didn't make it that far. We toasted to a New Year with bubbling apple cider and the next thing we knew it was 2010.
Happy New Year everyone.
I feel I may have missed someone starting this thread already, but it would be fun to see everyone's New Years Eve outfit.

Please my odd expression as if I'm on some sort if illegal substance, not the case, totally sober.

I see my legs look comparatively short in this shot. I don't know if it is because of the level at which the photo was taken, or perhaps the layering of longish tops, and shortish moto jacket are doing this to me. The there is the case that my legs really are comparatively short?

My outfit was loungewear - after being out of town for nearly a week, we braved a snowstorm to get home on NYE (daytime) and fell asleep exhausted and early!

We had a great time. I love to do something special for New Year's Eve, even if it is very low key.
Jenny, the jeans are Paige Premium, called Skyline Drive, classic rise, peg leg. I bought them on Ebay. They do not bag out as far I know. They are still pretty new to me
The top is a semi cowl neck Michael Stars grey knit with metalic gold thread running with the stripes. I also got the matching scarf.
The tissue weight charcoal color cardigan by Splendid, has lovely silver threads in strategic places.
The boots are Born which I bought last season, and they are as comfortable as it gets for me. These were my first pair of boots and I feel ready to move onto some texture in boots now

The ring is an heirloom that my mother gave me a few days before the photo was taken. It is a large peridot set in gold. The peridot is more blue/green than what I've always seen as peridot, which is yellow green. My mom gifted this ring to my grandmother for her 40th birthday in 1953. I LOVE IT! I will cherish it always, ofcourse.

I didn't take a photo (what was I thinking??!!) but I wore an ink blue cowl neck sleeveless top with a black cropped pleather jacket and black skinny jeans with my cream and black faux snakeskin pumps and a pearl ring and earrings. Oh, and I got to go to Patience's house and ring in the new year with them. Great times!

I had just thrown on my maxi dress (old pic from last year) after getting home from work and having a shower. I didn't realise people were coming over until we saw them across the road from our verandah. My hair was still wet, but I threw on a pair of chunky earrings, a SS cardie and some non birkie sandals (unlike in the picture
