New sundress, any other styling ideas?

Hello ladies,
I found this sundress at ON, I really like it and thought it was fine as is but the camera sees things I don't. I tried a belt but not sure if I am pulling it off. Did have a little white cardi too but didn't get a pix??? Any other ideas?? Does this work on me???
What say you my YLF friends, should I scrap it or fine tune it more????

The belt makes you look short-waisted, and over-emphasises your bust, I feel. BUT, the colour looks super on you. I'd just keep it plain and simple, unadorned, à la #2. If you're in the market for a sun-dress, this is a really nice one!

The color looks wonderful on you. I like #2 best but maybe a skinny low-contrast belt would help keep the look less short-waisted.

Yep, Joy's idea might be a compromise solution, if you really feel it is just too plain 'as is'. Personally, I think the unbroken line is more slimming.

It's only okay to me. I think the empire style dresses are a big problem for me with ON dresses. I've tried a couple and gave up. I prefer a lower, more natural waist.

not really feelin it... you can do better girlfrien'. colour is ok... i don't know, to me it is ok. i like the thought of the skinny belt if you keep it.

The sandals are quite strong in and of themselves. I'd remove *either* the belt or the necklace. I think if you removed the necklace, the belt wouldn't have such a shrinking effect on your torso length. I like the belt because it goes with the shoes and is a strong counterweight to the prettiness of the dress.

Maybe try it with a belt and denim jacket before you give up on it? Might be worth a shot.

I was thinking a white denim jacket or vest would work with it and add structure. The color is great.

It's perfectly fine as a casual summer dress; I'd do a denim jacket or vest and third the suggestion for a skinny belt (but I think it can be any color, really, even neon?) (-:

I like it with the thinner belt... can you try it with a white denim jacket or blazer once? If it still doesn't work then may be you would find something better

Great tips,
I have been on a hunt for thinner belts, i like them but begining to wonder if belts just dont love me back! I am short waisted and I love the idea of a denim jacket on top I think that is a great idea. I think it would def. give better structure than the cardi did. and see if that does the trick for it.
