New Shoes: Opinions Please

Hey everyone,
I hope you are all doing well!

I just picked up these DV Mattia oxfords on super sale. :)They are very comfy and bookend nicely. My only reservation is that they are a little more tomboyish than I usually go. I do wear loafers and fashion sneakers and I can think of some casual outfits that they might look nice in.
The cutouts are described as "sultry" in the promo product info. Hmmmm.

Too huarache hybrid?
Still feminine?

I have seen so many of you fabbers look great in lace ups. I might be a big copy cat!

I think they are fun! They'd be impossible in my climate except as summer shoes, of course. But in yours? I say, enjoy! September should be key wearing time, no?

I think these would be nice to transition from summer into fall, depending on where you live. In my area, Houston, they could be worn through the entire winter. I don't think they are as tomboyish as many oxfords. The color is current also. I like 'em!

I like them a lot! They're like a huarache - cutout oxford mix ^^ I think they're super for LA, and you can probably wear them a good while longer.

I like them a lot -- not too masculine at all. The cutouts are fun, the color is versatile, and they look like they'd be perfect with jeans, shorts, even dresses. I say keep and enjoy!

I like them! If you find them too masculine, you could try wearing them with slightly more feminine outfits to balance out the masculine/feminine vibe.

I think these are a great compromise between the classic feminine shoe and the oxford trend. The cutouts go a long way to lighten up the shoe and distinguish the shape from anything strongly masculine. The huarache detailing is a fabulous twist on the wingtip details I've been seeing added everywhere lately. Kind of like wearing giraffe print when everyone else is in zebra and leopard... definitely still cool, but uniquely you, too.
