Love everything... but that Ann Taylor silk dress!!! I want one.. perfect for winter, spring, autumn, it so perfect to wear with leggings.. to play with different structures, different fabrics!

Hi Sarah! I like the JCrew navy dress on you and agree that maybe it needs to be shortened. Depending on how deep the V neckline is and how comfortable you feel (it looked fine to me), yes, I think you could put a cardi over it for work.

Next, that AT printed sheath is killer! Keep, keep, keep!!

I am so sorry to disagree with you about the MK hot pink sheath. Those black buttons and pockets (there are pockets, right?) hit you at the widest part of the hip and to my eye, the result is not flattering. Sorry

The other tops and pencil skirt looked lovely, and even the last cap-sleeved dress didn't put me off a bit. Love that blue color on you!

Sarah, here are my few cents.

JCrew dress fits you really nicely at the top, you have nice upper body. I think if you shortened it, it would look even sexier. Which is a good thing, right?

I really like the AT dress, but I am not feeling it with that particular cardigan. Keep the dress for sure!

Laura makes a great point about the buttons on the pink dress. I like how the dress fits you though. What if you change the buttons?

BR sheath is classic. You will wear it forever. Keeper!!! And the hat is too cute. You look adorable in it. If you like to wear hats, it's a definite keeper.

AT pencil skirt is another classic. If you don't have a black pencil skirt, then keep it because it is a must have. It fits your really well. The blouse is really pretty, but perhaps you should wear it with other, lighter colors like grey or beige. Together, the outfit looks too dark.

AT blue blouse is very pretty. And such a great color that you can wear it with so many other colors. The M+O jacket is really something. Can you wear it buttoned up like the model? Great find! I am going to see if they have my size next. The pants look nice, it's always good to have a pair of well fitting black pants.

The blue dress looks really nice, cap sleeves and all.

I think I told you to keep everything so I really wasn't much help, was I? If I was to return any of the items, it would probably be the purple/pink AT blouse and possibly the pink dress.

Sarah, here is my take without reading others' comments:

- Navy J Crew dress - very pretty, but would look better if shortened.

- AT silk dress - WOW! Definitely keep. I'm not sure about leggings/shoes, but maybe try shorter leggings?

- Pink sheath - I thought this was less flattering on you than the other dresses. But if you love it, I say keep. Maybe it would look better belted?

- Black sheath from BR - LOVE! Keep.

- BR hat - I love it, but think you should wear it lower on your forehead. Is it too small for that?

- AT print blouse - GREAT! Keep.

- AT cowl neck blouse and trouser - these look great on you. Keep.

- Tuxedo jacket - LOVE LOVE LOVE. I may copy this, I adore tuxedo jackets.

- Blue Taylor dress - I think the fit looks good. I'm not sure about the cap sleeves.

I personally feel like the blue dress is not as flattering on my bust, but I'm not sure if it's just the photos.
I really do like the MK dress, so I'll keep thinking about that.
I can button the blazer, medusa. It fits really well. And the hat is not to small to wear tipped forward.
I really don't like shorter leggings on me, so I'll keep playing with the AT silk dress and see what I come up with.
I love the AT print blouse, but it was very expensive (not on sale). Tops are really hard for me, and it is very rare that I try something on and like it, let alone LOVE it. I'll play around with this one.
This is another blouse that I'm considering. They are very similar as far as colors and graphic patterns, so I wouldn't need both.

ORBIT TAKE OFF. Sarah! I LOVE the first navy J.Crew dress! It’s KILLER. It made my heart skip a beat. So 40’s and retro fabulous. Love the length. I’m still recovering……

So in my half recovered state here is my 2 cents:

• Love the pink mod MK frock with the stirrups!

• MK sheath pales in comparison to the J Crew dress. Not the best neckline. You need a sack dress with a low neckline - not a high one. I vote return.

• Sweet hat! Does it feel small?

• Great pencil skirt and top.

• Adorable pants outfit!

• The blue dress is not your best. We have seen you in MUCH better. I vote return.

Ugh, Angie. You have no idea. I'm two weeks overdue for a cut, but my stylist is on VACATION!!! I can't get it cut till next Thursday and I'm dying. Well, it feels like it.
I *think* you meant the AT pales in comparison to the JCrew dress, right? Bryan actually doesn't like this AT dress at all.
My reservations on the AT dress was the sheen. I remember a forum member pointing out awhile ago that shiny fabric was not my friend, and I think she was right.
The blue dress is going back for sure.
The hat is plenty big enough and can be worn differently. I just wasn't sure how to wear it.
What do you think of the BR sheath, Angie?
The second photo is so funny...I was actually yelling at my cat who was ready to pounce on the camera. It was making noises and that made her crazy.

Wow Sarah you look awesome. All of that running and working out certainly shows in your beautiful figure.
I LOVE the pink shift dress with the buttons at the hips. I adored it in the NAS book and I adore it even more on you. This is a look I definately would have gone for a few years back.
I also love the tuxedo jacket!!!! I would love to find something like that in a less dressy/shiny fabric for myself.

My 2 cents...

Love the J Crew dress and the pink MK dress. The AT top (print & color) is wonderful on you as is the cowl neck top and the tuxedo jacket. I'm not so fond of the AT dress (I know I'm in the minority, but the neckline feels off to me). The blue dress is not as nice as some of the other options you have so I'd put that money back into rotation to find something else that is better on you. Oh, forgot the BR sheath dress is wonderful on you and very versatile. The hat is too cute!! You really wear them well. Of course you need another black pencil skirt and this one fits the bill nicely

Oh yes. The BR sheath. It’s quite sweet, but not nearly as good at the J. Crew sheaths you've sported in the past. The one that you have in two colours is so much nicer. Does that make sense?

AT dress: I'm also not a fan of the neckline. Return.

MK dress: Great color, really cute.

BR sheath: Fits you well, looks like a nice basic.

Pants outfit: Yes, the tux-style jacket would totally work in place of a boyfriend jacket. A great look on you.

Better late than never!

J Crew dress: KEEP. I actually like it long; sometimes we need a dress that's a little longer, especially a dressy one.

AT silk dress: Not your most flattering neckline. I probably would return.

MK pink sheath: Okay, you managed to look pretty doggone cute in it, but I am still not crazy about the buttons or pockets. I would return, but I think you should keep.

BR sheath: KEEP KEEP KEEP.

BR hat: Too cute for words!

AT blouse and pencil skirt: KEEP. I tried on that top and it didn't look like that on me at all. Go you!

LOVE the M&O tuxedo blazer. KEEEEEP.

Taylor dress: Not loving the fit or the neckline on you. Return.

You are going to look GREAT this fall. Dang, girl.

Thanks everyone! I returned the blue Taylor dress, the BR sheath (like Angie said I think my JCrew solid black sheath looks better, this one made my bust appear low because of how high and wide the waistband was), and the AT print dress.
The pink MK dress got such mixed reviews, but I love it and feel like this is one of the times that I'm willing to "sacrifice" for a look. I have big hips, but I feel like the dress doesn't accentuate them. The buttons draw attention, but because of the dress' shape I don't think it makes my hips look any bigger than they actually are.
Again, I could be dellusional, but there you go.

I'm late to the party here, but commenting on the items you kept:

Like everyone else, I think the J. Crew dress looks great on you. I think it would be fine shortened to the knee, but I actually also think it looks really nice where it sits on you now. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the dress is one of their silk tricotone dresses, right? If that's the case, I wouldn't wear it to work with a cardigan. I think that the fabric looks too rich and fancy for work.

I like the pink MK dress. I didn't think it made your hips look big, but also, you have your hands in your pockets, so maybe that is making them seem bigger. I have to admit that I don't like it with the stirrup leggings, though. They just look so dark with such a bright, fun dress. But I also am not a fan of leggings in general, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Don’t shorten the J Crew dress!

And the MK pink dress doesn’t make your hips look big at all. I really liked it :0)
