New Esprit Dress

I had an issue with Esprit recently- you can read about it here:

But they have redeemed themselves in my eyes. The dress that I ordered came Wednesday, and I wore one yesterday:

The other dress is too large in the bust, and will go back. Esprit offers free return shipping, so that is fine with me. I love this one, and I will give Esprit another shot.

Laura- I think that I am the wrong person to ask about sizing, since my size is changing so often now. I had heard that their sizing ran small, too, so I ordered the top of my current size range. The one dress fits pretty well, the other fits well on the bottom half but was much too large in the bust. I tried on a similar style of dress at Penny's not long ago in that same size and it fit the same way.

Laura I find the sizing of Esprit to be small actually - in the LBD I recently bought online I wished I sized up, and in the white tunic I bought instore I needed to size up. In both items where it felt too small for me was bust and ribs (and I am very flat chested, so its not from cup size!) so maybe the brand is designed to fit people with delicate top halves better?

That's funny Tam- my top half is not delicate at all. My broad shoulders and large bust are what I usually have trouble fitting. This particular dress is tightest around my ribcage, and loose on my shoulders and bust.

I found that Levi jacket to be tiny. I ordered a small and I had to send it back. Too bad because it is a cute design.

Sounds like it is a ribcage sizing issue then to me Khris. That's where I noticed both items felt too small for me as well.
