New dress from Lyn D!! (ETA jackets and belts)

Isn't this a gorgeous colour! ? I love it.
The dress is great. Comfy and versatile. I think it would have looked better with a black long sleeve layering tee underneath but I couldn't find one.

Could you guys give me an opinion on fit. It is fairly loose (I suspect Lyn is bustier than I am!) But oversized is all the rage right? Well on ylf anyway!

Have included 2 jacket pics at the end
and now with a belt!

Thanks Neel. I am thinking you are saying that bare legs would have matched the bare arms? If so I agree. Except today I had rocktaped knees again, so I needed coverage!

The color is beautiful on you! It does look a smidge loose. I feel like you need to add some structure. A tailored topper or belt?

Beautiful color! I like it with black. It is a smidge loose, but a belt would sort that out. It should be quite simple to take it in along the seams, too, if you sew a little. Yay to Lyn D for sharing it with you!

I think this might be a keeper Anne
It looks good front-on, and around the arms there is no gaping to be seen.
I imagine you will be able to layer under it easily in cooler weather, and a jacket on top should reign it in nicely!

I think it's gorgeous on you, however I do feel it needs to be taken in a little on the seams. I would be interested to see a belt or a jacket as that may be all it needs, but definitely a keeper.

In view of your feedback I have included a few more pictures with jackets.

I can easily take the seams in - that would be well within my sewing capabilities. Would love some feedback about how much to take in and where (bodice, skirt. all?)

Anne I like it with the toppers. I really do think it looks too big in the skirt section. Top fits nicely. I would taper and fit the skirt.

It is great that you can sew Anne.
The front slit pockets are probably making it appear even looser in the pics.
I think you have the lovely figure of my 2 girls- a cup size smaller than me in the chest and a very slim pretty-pear-shape
