I don't know how I missed this thread -- Rae, you look ADORABLE! I love it. Your husband has a point, because it IS straight, black and pointy-looking, like on an anime character, but that just makes it even more adorable (and, to my mind, fits right in with your tomboy aesthetic). It very much suits your face (which is not boyish -- maybe that's why it works so well) and I bet you'll like it even more in a couple of weeks. Remember last week when my freshly cut hair made me look like Bilbo Baggins? Well, a mere week later, my hair's really good, bordering on awesome. Hairdressers are magicians sometimes. Anyway, your hair is already awesome, and that particular cut will look even more awesome in two weeks. It's definitely textured, like you wanted.
