New Boden dress... ideas?

My babycord retro Boden dress came today. It fits gorgeously through the shoulders & bust; by design it's a little less fitted through the waist. I love it, but I'm not sure if it looks the best on me. I'm not used to wearing clothes that aren't very fitted- is it too much fabric on me? Should I have the waist nipped? Hem it a touch? Are black tights & shoes the way to go? White bag? Green bag? Accessories? Beuller?

Oh oh oh! I've been looking at that dress. Very cute on you ... I don't think it needs anything. The length looks good, and it's meant to be straight in silhouette. I think it needs knee high boots in brown or black! Maybe a royal blue or orange bag.

Fun dress Steffi (your hair is so long!). I'm not very good at fit questions, so I hope someone else will chime in about this.

I would love to see this dress with micro fishnets and knee-high boots (grey, black...), maybe a bright-coloured bangle and I love the sound of an orange or red bag.

That's one of my favorites from the catalog too! Love it on you! I think the fit looks great, but I'm no expert.

I think it looks great on you. It's definitely meant to be loose through the waist and hips, but it still looks good. The fit on your shoulders and chest looks good.

Oh, how cute! My mom and I were just admiring this dress in the Boden catalogue, so it's great to see it on a "real" person. I think the fit looks perfect on you. I like the idea of a contrasting bag (white, mustard, persimmon, maybe a dark pomegranate) with the dress, like Inge suggested.

I think the fit of the dress is great! I can see it with brown or nude footwear, and for bags I like orange or tomato red.
