I find it really difficult to dress for work travel and work itself when the temperatures rocket. It's a very summery week and it was hot in Cleveland yesterday and is hotter in Raleigh today. I just can't do conservative trousers in this weather so before I left I ran into JCrew Factory and to my surprise found these great black linen culottes on promotion for $30. I've never thought I could do culottes but these are on the narrow side, have pockets, and fit great. I'm so happy in them today.
Also showing my shorter hair, thanks to a new, young, hippy stylist named Carissa who immediately understood my love of longer-shorter hair. I should never stray from this length. Love it or hate it, it really is the most me.
