I already posted this in reply to Joy's thread but thought I'd start a separate post for some feedback. I really do like this jacket but I'd like to know what you think. As always, feel free to be brutally honest

I really wanted to try on the Bernardo jacket but they did not have in store. I am debating whether or not to have them order it. I think I will when I head out to the mall to make some returns this week.

Do you love it niva?
I know this is probably a personal quirk, but I never buy anything with zigzag stitching showing. I don't find it to be an attractive topstitching. To me zigzag stitching is supposed to be hidden on the inside.
I am reluctant to say this because I know alot of people feel differently about it. I see it everywhere.
I think this jacket might be too big for you. Do you think so?

Vani, I can't help but think that this style is a little too long for you. You might need a petite for a cheekier effect. Other than that, the concept and colour are KILLER.

Cool!), after seeing your photos I drove back to Nordstroms and they ordered a jacket for me that I hope is available (wasn't on line but was still in a few stores according to the computer). They are available in petite and that's what I ordered. You might try for a petite. When I ordered the computer showed 7 small petites in stores somewhere. I haven't seen it in r/l

Vani, I think the jacket is pretty, but the sleeves seem a bit long. Do they have them in petite size? Perhaps that would work better length wise too. If you find it in a size that suits you, you can really have fun with it because so many colors go nicely with it.

I'm afraid I had the same thoughts as Angie. it's about the same length on you as my denim jacket (now Inge's denim jacket) was on me. The sleeves are too long as well. Have you looked in the petite section?

San, I like it but I'm not loving it, I think. The zig zag stitch and the distressing doesn't bother me and I do like the overall style and color.

Joy, I'm glad you were able to order the petite I think a petite will work better for me too.

Angie, Maya, Danja, I was thinking along the same lines. I didn't know if the jacket came in a petite but I just read what Joy said above. I'll call tomorrow and see if they have a petite and if not, if they can order one for me. I just spent the last 10 mins explaining to my hubby (who seems to have some strange affection for this jacket) why a petite will/might fit better than a regular LOL

The color looks great on you. OK, strange question: but does this jacket feel heavy to you? I tried it in the store today and the weight made me squirmy.

I love the jacket on you but agree the sleeves are a bit long. I am waiting on my xlp Jacket like yours to come in I hope mine looks that good on me. Have you thought of getting it in a petite. I really like the distressing look it gives it an edge. It looks very youthful and i need it I am 50.

Vani, I bought the petite version. I need to download the pics that I took in a rush last Thursday night (I know I keep saying that....). Anyway, I bet you would have much better luck with the sleeves if it was petite sizing.
