I notice a lot of people have been posting about their shopping trips, and I think they are fun and interesting to read, so I thought I'd post about mine.
I was looking for a fancy day dress for a few events I have coming up, which are outside, but require nice day dresses. I found this dress, which I love:

I was bargain shopping, so I found it on sale at Nieman Marcus. Don't worry, I did NOT spend $278 on it. To be honest, it looks much different on my body than it does on the model. What I liked about it was that it is feminine and beautiful, but also modest and it has thick straps to cover my bra. I am really disliking all of the slinky spagetti strap dresses I'm seeing everywhere. Who can wear those? I should also say that I like Juicy Couture a lot because everything I have boughten from them has been great quality, which I expect because their clothes are quite pricy. And it's age appropriate, as I am a college student.
I also bought another Juicy top on sale. It is basically the same silhouette, but a top, and the pattern is blue. I can't post the link because Bloomingdales is down right now, and they seem to be the only place that has it online.
I also have a quick question about this dress I recently bought for a party.

What kind of shoe do you recommend for this? Of course a heel, but I'm asking about color and style. I only have one pair of heels in my closet (and they don't fit anymore), so I want to buy something versatile that I can wear again. I also honestly don't want to spend more than $100, because the dress was so expensive. Links would be helpful, but general suggestions are great, too, since I am really inexperienced in buying heels. (I'm a ballet flat/sandal kind of girl). Also, jewelry suggestions would be great. I was thinking just earrings, no necklace because of the sequins, but I'm never that good at accessorizing. That's why I like clothes that have a lot going on, like that green dress, so I don't have to do much.
