I know most folks on the forum are winding down their NAS activity - making final decisions and sending stuff back. I only just submitted my order this evening.

It was really hard to narrow down what I wanted to buy. I had to consider the currency exchange costs and some duty costs. I also had to think hard about sizing and style to minimize returns (costly). I hope I have no returns

I asked questions on the forum (thank you). I tire kicked around here (Toronto). I went back and forth on several items. Whittled my list down to one item and in the end ordered six. Here they are ...

Zella Capris - I ordered these because they are high waisted. I have 2 similar pairs of cropped pants that I realize now are too low waisted. I hope these work as a replacement. I've also realized that I want all my bottoms to be high waisted. I just took up golf and fortunately insisted on a high-waisted golf skort for my capsule (I almost didn't but returned the ones that didn't make me feel "locked in")

Halogen cami - a wardrobe essential I think Angie would call it. I have several of these already. I was hoping there would be some colours I liked too. Next time.

MK Trench - love this colour! Why don't we get this selection of colours in coats in Canada?? We have to wear them 8-9 months of the year! I bought this for the colour, the petite sizing (no need to shorten sleeves - so difficult with a trench), the single breasted style and the liner (I'm hoping I now won't have to wear my lightest puffer on a cool spring morning!).

KK Top - I like long over lean and wore a lot of long cardies over slim bottoms last winter. I wanted to work this silhouette with some one piece tops for this winter.

Halogen tunic - ditto the KK top

Cognac boots - oh how I dithered! The lengths I went to to figure out sizing, colour, height!! Bought these because, like many with big girl calves, tall boots are a HEWI. I have one black pair from DUO, which are great, but just not comfortable enough in the footbed to make them all-the-time boots. The black and style feels dressier too. I'm hoping these cognac ones will a. fit! b. not be too orange and c. be casual and comfy enough for my lifestyle.

Thanks to Angie for answering my questions and her detailed lists, Thistle for her cardinal "walk your dog in them comfortable" rule around footwear, Carter for her detailed post on NAS shopping, and to Robin for helping me think about colours for the tops.
