My first WIW and what size?

Now which size should I keep? #3 or #4?

I have already learned (after being here several months) that the shoes in #5 are terrible! ha. (The vest is my very first Angie pick from Nordstrom.) I posted this particular photo as a baseline for progress made. It was actually taken earliest in this journey.

I am interested in serious feedback as I am a beginner! Many thanks to all!

Congratulations on the first WIW! Always the scariest but the best thing to do!

#1 - I love the color scheme of this outfit. The pencil skirt is a beautiful color and the scarf ties the colors in beautifully. The sandals casualize the outfit very well.

#2 - I love the blues and whites with brown here. Fantastic summer dress!

#3 and #4 - I prefer the medium. The large somehow makes the top look shapeless. It just doesn't seem to be made for fluid/boxy fit. But the medium is beautiful on you both tucked and untucked.

#5 - FWIW I still wear my cap toed ballet flats. The style sure is dated, but when it comes to shoes ... Comfort first :). I love how the red bookends with your handbag. And nice pattern mixing too. This is a wee bit maximal for me though (the details on the vest, printed dress, printed shoes). But take that with a grain of salt ....because I am currently craving minimal and fighting with my own outfits!

I like both outfits! I would go with the medium of the two red shirts (great shirt, by the way).

I'm no help with #5 because I like the shoes and have similar ones without the red trim that I wear a lot.

You are looking seriously good in each of these photos....all of these clothes suit you.....you've done very well. Personally I like the medium more than the large and my only suggestion is perhaps you could add a complimentary belt to the tucked version of the red top.

Congratulations on your first WIW! You are looking good! I love the colours of #1, so soft and pretty and fresh-feeling. That skirt is almost radiant orchid!

#2 looks like a perfect, hot day dress. Easy and breezy.

And I love the vest in #5 -- looks good on you. You'll be able to wear it lots of ways into the fall.

I prefer the size of the top in #3. It still has fluidity and grace but does not disguise your lovely figure.

And what a fab colour for fall.

Also, love your jeans in that pic!

Sz. Medium top, please. Looks breezy enough and current, while the larger one looks too big and sloppy to my eye.
Love the printed scarf in #1, very pretty summer outfit. Last photo: shoes are cute, not "terrible". You look put together and confident.

I have a little more cinnamon colored leopard ballet flats with black patent cap toe and heel counter. Don't have the red trim. But I like mine so well I actually duplicated them.

Nice easy summer looks - and also prefer the smaller size in the blouse (at first I though we were looking at the jeans - lol) . I really like the look of the vest over the dress and yes, as Neel mentioned, cap toe ballet slippers aren't necessarily trending right now, but they are really a classic in my mind.

I prefer the Medium top because it's fluid but not too baggy. A great colour for Fall. Nice jeans and partial tuck too.

The easy frock outfit is #2 is a fab way to dress on a hot day sans a/c. Nicely done.

Congratulations on your first WIW! All of these outfits are fab! Love your new bag with your outfit in 1. Your boyfriend jeans are a fantastic fit and look terrific on you.
I prefer the medium top on you. It's very flattering with the semi-tuck you're showing and also looks good worn out. The large looks a little long, and I think the slightly oversized look would be harder to style.
I guess I didn't get the memo on cap-toe ballet flats, because I have several pairs and still wear them. Yours are really cute with that outfit.

Great job! Your #1 is lovely, and conveys a lot of personality. The repeated lines (scarf, hem, hem) look great. Your #2 appeals to me, too, probably because its simplicity almost disguises its polish. And, yes, the medium top.

Great to see you post! I agree with the Medium on the deep red blouse, which looks really nice with the semi-tuck! I also like the last outfit with that vest but agree that maybe different shoes would be more on trend.

Congratulations on your first WIW! Actually your first series of WIW! I agree that the medium top looks best. I love the jeans and a belt would add a lot to the outfit. I love the faux tuck. The other outfits look good. Ballet flats seem to be a classic. There are lots in the stores. If they make you happy then wear them.

Congrats on your first WIW post! #2 looks especially fab, perfect for a hot day. Another vote for the smaller of the two red tops, looks good semi-tucked too. I don't find the shoes in #5 terrible, I still have pair of capped ballet flats which I enjoy wearing
