Of course, I can't find the thread now to link to it, but there was a challenge proposed to take 12 basics and 6 new pieces and turn them into 16 outfits. I had my photographer on hand, and my husband at work, so I did mine today. Accessories are not counted for this challenge.
My Basics:
1. David Kahn Lauren bootcut jeans
2. white button down tunic shirt (Old Navy)
3. black tux jacket (Target)
4. pink cami (Kohl's)
5. brown cami (Old Navy)
6. chambray shirt (Old Navy)
7. Bellatrix floral silk tunic
8. J.Crew striped boat neck top (Thanks Anna!)
9. H&M black knit top (Thanks Anna!)
10. lace top from Forever 21
11. linen blend shorts from Old Navy
12. BR slouchy skinny cutoffs
New Items
1. Ultra Pink lace vest
2. lacey sweater from Target
3. layered skirt from Marshall's
4. Lee pink shorts
5. gray shorts from Marshall's
6. Cynthia Rowley top
Most of this will look like summer wear to you guys, but I was trying to be realistic about what I can wear here in the fall. It's way too hot for any of these now, but maybe in a month I can start giving some of these a try.
