Though proportions lead me toward mostly separates, I still like the idea of easy 1-piece dressing and try on dresses from time to time.

Dress 1 from Anthro seemed like it ought to work (though ssshh, I'm not supposed to get any more sleeveless). However, it looked too ? retro? 1950's? on me. But it has LENGTH. And POCKETS. So someone may like.

Then I love the shirttail hem dresses, but shorter lengths/bare knees/bare legs aren't so hot on me with this style, so have wondered about fall/winter versions with tights or leggings.

Dress 2 might work with tights, was short for me without. The color and pattern on rack looked pretty, but turned out not good on me.

Dress 3 is same style, but like the pattern better; saw an online, too-large return in store, but they said would be online only. Not sure I want to order but the plaid is pleasing and it looks more fallish as this would go with black or cognac, tights/boots. Looked for Tall also for extra lenght, but only S size left.

Issues with 2 and 3 for tights may be seasonal confusion except for brief season. Except, I could see #3 with a thin sweater, turtle or no, layered under, or some kind of vest. Maybe #2 also.
