My husband has an interview tomorrow for another job in his company. It would be a lateral move, not a promotion. Due to the nature of my husband's work, he usually wears jeans to work (clothes can get torn or dirty) but always wears a suit to interviews. So, his interview tomorrow is at 3pm so he was planning to bring clothes to change into. He picked out dress pants, a collared shirt, and a tie. I'm wondering if, being that he is going to the effort to change, that he should just wear his suit like he would if it was an interview at another company or another location. Any thoughts, experience with in-house interviews like this. Last year, my husband had a similar interview for a lateral position within the company and he had only 5 minutes notice so he obviously wore the clothes he had been wearing all day. But this time the interview was scheduled in advance. Any thoughts?? I haven't interviewed for a job in years...
For reference, he does IT work for a major media company.
