Marni midi dress. Color question.

Love to death but I am a fan of all those colors. That color looks like it has a terracotta, clay feel- not khaki beige which is the one most people (not me) do not care for. I think that dress is beautiful and I want one!

This color really depends on your complexion. I don't have a good enough feel for yours to say. I think that Jean/Greengloves has a sheath dress in a similar color.

It's more neutral. I can wear chocolate browns and olives no problem.

It is exactly a color I can see on Jean - doesn't she have a jacket from ASOS in a similar shade? The only way to know if it works is to try it, of course.

If you wear olives and browns I don't see why this won't work, but I'm not great with colors. Well if it doesn't work, you can always bring color to your face with a scarf to prevent soul sucking beige lifelessness.

It's a cute design but the color is iffy. I think you can do better. This dress is definately made for a red head like Jean.

That dress is SO YOU! The only way to know about the color is to test it out....you know you can never really tell from the pics they post. Did you watch that GG bit on Nightline that I posted for you? They take all those pics in their warehouse. Order, order! The structure of that dress makes me want it too......*I just clicked the imaginary enabler button*

Well, I LOVE Marni stuff generally speaking, so I'm sold right off the bat! The cut of the dress is very chic, IMO. Won't know about the color until you get it on. Re. footwear: what about your new spring booties? Too matchy-matchy with the dress?
