I've never been much of a skirt wearer, but I'd like to give them a try this summer. I'm having a hard time finding any that are casual enough for my style/lifestyle, though. I don't mind florals, but I don't wear anything that's too ruffly or pleated. I like things a little more tailored, I guess. Has anyone seen any casual cotton or cotton blend skirts that they'd recommend?

I feel a little more secure running around with the kids knowing there's a short underneath. Also, I'm 46, but petite (5'2"), so I'm hoping a little above the knee is okay?
