Looking for a thin denim jacket

I'm looking for a thin (and reasonably priced/cheap) denim jacket that can be worn over a maxi dress. It can be 3/4 length sleeves. I have found denim jackets but they are usually very thick and not the soft thin material, that I am looking for. Has anyone seen any recently for sale anywhere?

Are you looking for the typical jean jacket styling? Or are you open to other styles of a jacket made of denim?

Lori, I'm hunting for something similar. I picked this jacket up on sale at the Loft for around $20. It's lightweight and not stiff. I like that it's not the typical denim jacket style, but I'm on the fence about whether it's too sporty to pair with the dresses I have in mind. I'll try to post a pic of it over a maxi later. My favorite denim jacket is soft and not too thick. I bought it last year at Target. Size up.

A light colored denim is likely to be thinner too. All the bleaching breaks down the fabric a bit, making it thinner and softer.

To my great and snobbish surprise, my ideal thin denim jean jacket is from Target. Agree with Joy to size up. Wearing the heck out of it.
