Long-inseam leggings?

My order of leggings from Madewell got canceled, sigh, so I am again on the search for a decently thick pair of leggings with a longer inseam. 32-33" would be ideal. I looked at Long Tall Sally (online) last year but they'd already sold out in my size. Black is fine, but I need a brand that goes to a 14/16 or XL. Any thoughts?

I am no help, but will be watching this thread....I need 34 inch inseams....if I come across something, I will promptly post!

Try Soft Surroundings. Quality is good. Boston Proper and Victoria Secret tend to have very tall options.

My favorite leggings from the Gap come in Tall. I'm guessing my regular length ones have around a 32" inseam, so Tall should be longer. The only thing is that these are Definitely Not Pants. (As in, they are a little bit see through. This is fine for me as I wear them under dresses, but if you want to wear them with anything that is not butt-covering, I would think again.)

(By the way, I discovered these when Maya recommended them to me ages and ages ago on YLF when I was looking for non-poly leggings. One of my first YLF conversations! I miss Maya...)

I am waiting on a couple of pairs of Old Navy ponte leggings in tall. I tried them on in the regular length in-store and they were thick and flattering, with a moderately high rise. I'll measure the inseam when they show up -- meant to be tomorrow.

Thanks, beck - that might be ok assuming they don't shrink much in the wash. Unfortunately, most leggings seem to.

Good thread--on the lookout for thick leggings for winter, and also a pair of faux leather leggings that won't cost me more than like $40. I don't know if I should even bother with H&M but that's about all I can afford right now. Anyone have any good faux leather legging expériences for cheap??

I found these on Etsy, and I can vouch they are very long, and a lovely thick, thick legging. They are pricy, but they are also quite lovely.

I wouldn't wear them without a tunic at least, or a dress, but they are long and quite warm (fleece lined.) They smelled a little strange at first but one wash took away the weird plasticy smell. They hold their shape very well.

I second GAP's leggings in tall...love them. I finally broke down and ordered them last year after a very long search. I have both the regular ones posted above, I believe, which are indeed thin but great for my climate, but also the GAPFit ones which are much thicker but don't read as sporty in the solid black at all. Only planned to keep one, but ended up with both and so glad I did.

LTS's leggings are back in stock, so that's a possiblility. I'm not sure if I looked at the right ones @ JCP, Deb, since your link isn't working for me, but the ones I searched for said that the tall inseam was 31.5". Not what I'd consider tall, eh? :/

Well I broke down and got the faux leather leggings from H&M, their middle-of-the-line ones which were about 30€... they are high rise, which makes them comfortable and keeps my bum covered when I am sitting on a bar stool! They are great, no regrets!

Quick update: the Madewell leggings I'd been stalking finally came off backorder and so I ordered them. They arrived today and the inseam on the XL is about 30". Not ideal but they are well made and well-fitting otherwise, and I got them on sale, so I will probably keep them for wearing around the house or with outfits where I'm wearing boots and socks anyway.

I want to try the Gap tall ones listed above as well as the Long Tall Sally, but I've got to wait until the new year as my clothes budget is used up at the moment.

Does anyone wear the Zella leggings that are usually available thru the Nordstrom sale as leggings under things, as opposed to exercise wear? I can't tell without seeing them in person whether they'd look too gear-like.
