Hi, everyone.

I have got a question and I would love to hear your opinion.

How do you feel about linkup party's on blogs? I do one each Friday but some bloggers say they don't do linkups. I of course respect their choice, but it made me wonder why they don't want to. Are you participating in linkups? And why do you or why don't you?

We have a Link Love post that we run every second Thursday afternoon, Nancy. We also highlight stylish bloggers in a series twice a month - giving them lots of fun limelight. We have been doing these posts for years. That's YLF's way of linking to the blogoshere - and in my opinion quite a meaningful way.

I like the curated links lists like YLF has. I admit I usually skip the "link party" types of posts where there's just a link to everyone who participates, because I find that boring and it doesn't reflect the taste/style of the blogger at all. (And if I follow a blog, it's because I like the blogger's style or writing or ideas, so I want to know what links the blogger enjoyed, not just some random list of other blogs.)

I really like them. It's fun to look at fashion related posts that we may not have found ourselves.
