The leather jacket that got the most love on my original post for me to try was this one http://www.danier.com/leather-.....px?lang=en but when I tried it on yesterday, it was much too long for my body. The waist was actually on my hips. It was indeed a stunning jacket and I was disappointed (and downright amused!) by how it fit.

While sitting in my office just now I got a phone call from the SA at Danier Leather (shout out to Megan!) that worked with me yesterday (my contact information is on file with them). She explained that she got wondering after I left yesterday why the jacket fit was so off, as one of her co-workers has that jacket and is only 5'2" (one 1.5 inches taller than me) and it fit her perfectly. That co-worker was not there yesterday but is there this morning so my SA asked her co-worker to try on the exact jacket that I tried on yesterday (it was the only medium in the store so she knows it's the exact jacket). It didn't fit her right either so they thought that it's a rogue jacket that doesn't have the right measurements. She then called their warehouse to see if one was there (which there was) and asked them to measure the length of the jacket and more importantly, the length from the shoulder to where the waist starts to nip in. Lo and behold, the jacket I tried on yesterday was 2 inches longer in the upper body than the one in the warehouse! She has asked the warehouse to send her the correct jacket and will call me when it arrives so I can try it on.

Is that excellent service or what???!!! This jacket has potential - it's classic with a bit of edge. I'll keep you posted...
