Le Chateau tunic/dress

My order came today! I have just tossed this on. I would probably never wear this as a dress because of my one knee, but I could see it with cropped leggings, and also with my white clam diggers and white jeans! The back is a thick stretchy knit, and the print panel is a satin finish with a bit of a sheen but not shiny. It's a bit staticky but I find that with all polyester. I'll have fun wearing it! What do you guys think?

It's fantastic--even better on you than the photo online! It really suits you. I think it would look great with a pair of black leggings, tucked into the boots you're wearing in 1 and 2 here. I like all your suggested styling options. My urge would be to try it belted, too, though that changes the feel of the style a lot, and it might be more me than you! As it is, the lines are so current, with the dropped back and slightly oversized look.

I think it looks great. I love the pattern and drape. If I weren't on a shopping ban I would look into it for myself.

I like your ideas for styling but I don't see what's wrong with it as a dress for warmer temps. What's wrong with your knee? Your legs look fine here.

Sara, my last pregnancy I got a bad varicose vein that runs from mid-thigh and pools down the inner side of my right knee and upper calf. I'm self conscious about it -- knee length skirts I'll do because most of it is hidden then.

WOW, I just love it !!! When the Chateau was in Boston, I shopped there a lot. That was 20 years ago. It is nice to see that it is still around and kicking some butt !

Is it wrong for me to 'covet' this This looks amazing on you Ceit. It's listed as a tunic on line so Im not sure it is meant to be worn alone. Though I think the length is fine. Very cool. Love it.
