So, I literally decided at about 2 this afternoon to fly down to LA tomorrow to surprise my mom for her 70th birthday.

After staring in my closet for the remainder of the afternoon, I finally decided to start popping some stuff on.

here's what I've come up with
1)tomorrow.. haircut in the AM and then fly down in the afternoon
2) out to dinner and a movie with "the girls" Grandma, mom, sisters, nieces....
3) probably kicking around the house on Saturday. I'll take the vest in case we "go" anywhere
4-11) this is where it gets tricky. we'll be going to church in the morning. Their church is I think a block from the beach which means it won't necessarily be warm at 10 in the morning. but then we'll drive inland and probably gain 20 degrees to meet up with the whole family for lunch. Several options. Not sure how to go.
#4 would be my first choice, but not sure if I'd freeze at church
#5 is warmer, but for lunch out, taking the jacket off leaves it pretty boring
#6-11 I could take this dress, but again, could be a cool morning. Which variation do we like best?

hmmm, maybe I could do 5 for church and switch out to #6 for lunch.... what to do, what to do.... talk me through this The problem with most of my dress options is that they are sleeveless and my legs and toes could freeze.

and then I hop pack on the plane and at this point I probably won't care what the heck I have on....
