Last attempt at TIFF outfits: with harem pants and photobomber

Although my boys promised me some time to pack, they didn't promise they wouldn't interfere, and so I was forced to put up with photobombing by both of them the whole time.

Here are the red and black dresses with the harem pants(silk Rich & Skinny, though I am neither!). I think I like this look best with the red. Also the Vince dress, and the harem pants shown for fit, and a wildcard citron Mango sack dress from Penney's that was all of $10 and I kind of love. And another outfit with Helmut Lang skirt, a "festival rocker" look with fringe bag from H&M, an outfit with an Alberto Makali jacket, and a very me outfit with my son doing "the Whip".

The jacket is something my friend talked me into at the Rack - it was on deep sale and fits perfectly and it has a draped cut I love, but I can't figure out if it is cool or Chicos-tastic artsy grandma. HELP!

All thoughts welcome! I know this a lot of pictures but it's all possibly coming with me depending on how it looks.

I actually prefer the black dress over the harems. I like the column of colour, it's lengthening and very attractive proportions. The harem pants are stunning, may I ask where they are from" Yellow dress is gorgeous! Love the design and I think you wear the colour well.

The jacket is 'cool'. Metalicus did something similar recently and I am kicking myself for not buying it. Love it with the harems and I bet it will look good with a skinny leg too.

Your boy is adorable! Is that the Whip Nay Nay song?? Mine boy is crazy about it lol

I still like #2 best! I love that tunic on you. I think it is the perfect marriage of things you were looking for and it looks fantastic on you. And I love the silhouette of it here with the harem pants. I think the alternatives are nice, but thinking back to your original premises they don't hold a candle to the second look IMO.

Love them all, but my fave is nr.2, close follower nr 4:-) Wow, for those harem pants, are they silk/satin? Would like the red dress with bare legs, or shiny leatherette stretchy skinnies under(aka leggings:-)).

I love those harem pants. Have we seen them before? They are so luxe looking. Love them with the black FP tunic , with the black top and super love for them with camo. Fringey bag look is also top notch. It's all good but those are my faves

I am literally speechless at how incredible you look. You look exactly like those pictures I rip out of magazines to place in my fantasy folder. You look glamorous, yet so true to yourself.

#2 is still my favorite too. The harem pants are a nice change from leggings or skinnies under the dresses. My other favorites are 3 and 7 but they are all fabulous Una. You are going to have a blast and not have to worry about outfits at all.

Wow -- what a wealth of choices!! Fantastic, every one. Bring it all!!

I am with the others in loving the harem pants with tunic in 2. Elegant, glamorous, a bit unexpected, fun, easy. Fabulous!!

I think I still prefer the red dress without bottoms. Also love the Vince dress.

The jacket thing is wonderful on you! 6 is gorgeous. And the yellow dress is a total win!!

You are going to look amazing no matter what you wear. Happy travels!

Black over harems-- the mango is cute but seems "un finished" outfit wise-- I love the festival rocker look and the vince dress-- not sure about the jacket, need to see pattern up close.

This is tough if I am supposed to choose. Love both dresses over the harem pants - love the harem pants themselves. Of course have a soft spot for the Vince dress. #6 is fantastic too. Photobomber is also fab!

Whoa, Alaskagirl, I can't say it better than a Sterling did. All of these looks are gorgeous on you and PERFECT for your trip.

I'm joining the fandom for look #2 over 1. It's so elegant and I love the sheer, slight-contrast look you get over the top of the pants (those pants are fab and will be so versatile on your trip).

The Vince dress looks made for you: great colour, perfect length, I hope it comes along too. And the citron dress is brilliantly retro 80s: I can see it styled with a bold necklace to balance the boots, maybe with leggings. Looks 6 and 7 are fab too--7 is just stunning outfit perfection. All these looks are very different; you'll be well up for any occasion.

The only piece I'm unsure of is the jacket: it fits beautifully and looks great with the harem pants, but with that print I can see it veering more towards artsy grandma with other items. But I seem alone in this view and may be scarred by my own experience with a similar item. So take that FWIW!

You are going to have a blast, feel gorgeous and turn heads. Speaking of heads...your hair looks more amazing by the day. Have fun!

All gorgeous, but I particularly like the column of color in #2. It is really lovely. I am also liking the mango dress. Looks great on you. The rest are all pretty awsome too...take it all.

I love the harem pants! I honestly can't decide whether I like the red or black tunics better with them... Or in other words, they are both super fab and I don't think you could go wrong with either. Citron dress is awesome too!

I wasn't that keen on the too trendy version of retro black dress for you before and I don't like it better over pants.

I liked the red dress without pants better but if you're thinking it's too short the chrome yellow and the wine colored dress could share it's function.

You look beautiful, especially liking 5 and 6.

Wow - everything is so unique and different here ! I wouldn't know where to start either I hate to start with a negative, but to eliminate the ones that don't work in my eye: the Vince dress - too casual/daytime looking here; and the Chico grandma jacket - not entirely a fan but can't really put my finger on it. Doesn't look like you.

The best? I think the citron dress - agreeing with Angie. That one is ultra sharp, simple and very stylish. I honestly think you'd stand out and look like a million bucks in that one. Not many people can pull off that colour in a dress, YOU CAN, so do it! And to agree with Janet too - I really like the rockerish pant look in 7.

I was reading a long column in the Globe and Mail today from a Toronto society "gossip" columnist about TIFF and who is going to be there - and man oh man are you going to be in some pretty swish company. I can't wait to see pics!!!!

Wow, woke up to all this kindness! I am going to take all of it and see what happens but I think there will be a chance to wear most of it. Everything is so small and easy to pack compared to winter packing!

The harem pants are at least 3 years old - they are a satiny silk and the harem part is actually big drapey pockets. I'm pretty sure i was inspired by Angie's shorts and jodhpur pants. The angled leg hem is also fun. I don't wear them often because they are summery but this the first time it occurred to me to style them under tunics or dresses!

Angie, I knew you'd like 5! The shoulders worried me but heck, I'm an IT and I know it.

3,4,5,7,and 9 are my favorites. That $10 dress? Amazing! The harems are gorgeous. I like the cut of the jacket, but the print throws me.

Lisa, I just saw a list of people that are supposed to be there. Getting tickets online gave me a headache. I got into the Natalie Portman film and Black Mass. My DH looked at my lineup and said I would need therapy afterward - lots of sad dramas and docs!

Cerinda, PB has school although he is begging to go. He is a bit young still - the films are so serious!
