Public service announcement: I just ordered this high-low skirt that Angie blogged about, for $19.90 - (use my link, because for some odd reason, the website still says $49.90)

Wow, that's an amazing price for the skirt. I really like it but don't think it would suit me. It's going to look fab on you! I was hoping the Bobeau striped midi had gone on sale too, but not yet! I'm waiting for that one.

Oh, I have to look at that midi, Marianna. I'm not at all sure that the skirt will work on me either, but I figure for $20 I'll try it. And if it doesn't you and I will get to see each other at customer service

Laura ! You crack me up with the "public service announcement". Can you figure out a way to get those sirens going and the tv announcement ? Can you imagine if that happened every time a good sale happened ?

Oh thanks so much Laura! I just ordered two sizes in the teal skirt after I did some paper doll investigating to see if I had tops that would work.

I like the fact that the elastic is in the back only, so hopefully that will cut down on the puffyness around the belly. I do have a wide grey braided belt that should help with this as well. If this works out, I'll have a fun skirt to help combat summer dressing doldrums!

Despite the fact that I have a rule about not buying a skirt without a top, I ordered it and if it's fabulous, I will keep my fingers crossed and hope to find a top that works. In the reviews, someone pointed out a Caslon t-shirt that worked, so I figure that would be a place to start!
