anyone have any experience with this brand? the price does not indicate premium.. but how do they hold up?

This is a brand that Angie recommended for me, so I am curious as well. I am watching some on ebay right now.

They run LONG:) That can be a good thing if you are tall or wear high heels:) They hold up well. My tall friend...well she is 5'10 flat footed... loves them.

well, I picked up a pair at the Rack today and I actually would like to let the hem out a tad. The way they are hemmed it would work- I checked to see that there was no fading at the hemline.
I just want to make sure they aren't going to be a baggy mess at the end of the day.
I might wear them in the house with the tags on all day and see what happens.

I have a pair of *casual* cords and I like them a lot. I don't LOVE them, but they are solid and good quality.

I have Kut from the Kloth dark wash straight legs that are seeing lots of action. They don't have the feel of premium jeans but don't get seriously baggy on me. I like the fit, color, and that they are more midrise. Nordstroms had them on sale last week for $59 and they may go down more. I think I spent $79. As Rose says, they are good quality. I considered duplicating but want to find a great pair of premium jeans.

I have a pair of black bootcuts that I'm pleased with. I bought them in December and so far I haven't noticed any bagging or fading. Mine are mid-rise, have 2% spandex, and I think I paid around $80.

Mine ran long (but hemming is becoming a norm for me now, so no biggie) and they stretched.
BUT I think I should have purchased one size smaller in the first place.
Definitely a great bang for the relatively low buck.

I got the smallest size they had and they were snug but not obscenely. (which is probably why I feel that I want them a tad longer- they don't seem to make the smaller sizes in longer lengths)
I think I"ll put them on today and see how they do...

Hi Queenie-I have several pairs of this brand and also a pair of the cords, they run long which is why I have them. The rise is perfect for me, not too low like most premiums seem to be on me..they do run large, so I go down a size,and they do stretch some, but I have really enjoyed mine, I hope you do too.

I think Kut from the Kloth are comparable to Jag Jeans. They have alot of stretch to them but seem to snap back nicely. It seems like the times I have looked through them in the store they favored alot of whiskering and such which turned me off. This very well could have changed now.
I do have Jag jeans and they are comfy, but they shrunk in length. This was before I knew to not put them in the dryer. I still think they are good jeans and bought some for my daughter for her birthday which she loves.
In my jeans hunting adventure opinion, I would say the Kut, Jag, Not Your Daughter's jeans are similar. I wonder if Angie agrees. I'll have to ask her.

san, these are actually nice and dark without alot of whiskering which is what attracted me to them. I was so fed up in Macy's looking through their premium denim section and 90% of it was all faded and jagged edges! I really need to get to Nordies for a premium denim party day

I'd say Kut's are a cut above NYDJ's. They make really nice walk shorts so be on the look out for those too.

queenie - did you try your jeans around the house? I'm interested because I picked up a pair in this brand at Nordies on Monday and I'm insecure about the size/stretching and I've been waiting for you to do the research

Also, if they seem short, things from the Rack can be 'Previously Altered'. It would say it on the tag. If so, they may have been shortened?

Sara- I didn't wear them today- I think I'm going to wear them tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
These don't look like they've been altered at all, but who knows... they are fine for me to wear with 2 inch heels, but i"d like them a tad longer so to "sweep the floor" with 2 1/2 inch heels.
