...and I'm on the fence. I ordered my usual size 8 and an 8.5. My feet are on the slim side (but not slim enough to be narrow) and the 8 fit fine. Even when I tried it with an insole (my arches like support), the 8 was still good.

The shaft is nice and snug, but I think this stretchy material may not be ideal for us with chicken bone legs.

1) So the boot on the left is me pulling it up. The boot on the right is how it looks after I've walked a bit.

2) Sorry for the sideways pic. It's not that way in my folder. Anyways, this is the bunching shaft from the side view.

3) I already have boots that bunch at the ankle (pic 3), but these were only $30 not $180!

4) I noticed that the Aquatalia's have an ankle buckle. I wonder if that helps with this sagging issue?

I like that they are waterproof and fit snug, but the bunching seems odd for the expense. Maybe if I tuck in skinny jeans it will be less bunchy, but it's too hot for me to try that right now.

I'm feeling let down. What do you think? Am I being too critical?
Yay=keep, the bunching is natural
Nay=return, you can do better for the money
