Thank you all for the fast and thoughtful feedback.
Rita, these are Trina Turk, snatched off the 'bay for a few bucks. They were listed as used, but the plastic tag attachment and those little paper tags they put on the pockets, to identify the pieces for the production line, are still attached, so who knows? Day Vies was right on the money with fit, they are cut pretty nicely and seem to be flattering, despite the volume. I took a chance with them, they are about two sizes up from what I would normally wear. I'm always up for a twinnie post but the chances that I will leave my house with these and a furry vest are close to zero. I can't handle it, lol. Maybe I can start a YLF meetup capsule lol.
Janet, I did see what you saw originally and questioned the same thing. I just think that the effect in real life is not as demarcated. Thank you for being honest about it. I do appreciate when someone posts an opposing opinion and I actually make a bigger effort to reply, when my view is opposite.
To all of you, who addressed the clinging factor. I do need to play with hose on. Thank you, you guys think of everything.
Angie! LOL, you cracked me up. Yes, I was lazy to try them with hose, but yes, I don't like cold knees. Thanks for the approval.
Mo, I much more prefer the look with booties too, but since I have much more exposed leg that I'm accustomed to with these, I need riding boots to compensate, let alone, to keep warmer. I do totally agree, though, this is not the best styling and I need to play around more. I think I'd like to try them with the Frye laceup boots next.
Thank you all for commenting and for the clutch love.
...and a special shoutout to Day Vies, your brand and size/fit review of the Trina Turk shorts was spot on. Thank you so much!!!!
