OK, after creating my "fashion bucket list" (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ucket-list) I clicked on that red DVF wrap dress and found out it's 30% off at Neiman Marcus! I just had to try it out! (This would probably be an early birthday present to myself).

This is a New Julian Two dress. They only had a size 4 (by the size chart I'm between a 4 and a 6). I am not sure if the 4 is too tight? I tried on the size 6 in another style (Jeanne, with a collar) and it seemed baggy/lumpy around the torso and loose in the bust. But I'm not sure if my belly is too big for the 4?

I like the color and the pattern of this dress a lot. It's red and white, but the red is more of a coral red color. And I really like the Asian-inspired flower pattern. And it's silk jersey and is one of the styles that DressLover recommended, so it would last longer than the DVF Linda red knit dress I tried and returned last fall.

But, I have three possible concerns with this dress and want to know if these are dealbreakers...
1. I think I would have to wear it with a cami, because it's a little too low cut to wear to work without. I tried it on with my red tank and cream lace trimmed tank. Which looks better?
2. With the way the dress is wrapped, there's potential for a lot of thigh baring if I move my leg the wrong way (see #7). Is that normal for wrap dresses or is it because the size is too small? I don't think I would normally have my leg in that position (I'm no Angelina Jolie!) but I don't know if it's a problem?
3. Print placement--there's a small bare red patch in an unfortunate place--does it look like a nipple (see #11)? It's not really noticeable when I look in the mirror, but I spotted it when I was reviewing the pics. Is this a problem?

What do you think? Yea or nay on the wrap dress style in general and this particular dress/size? Try a larger size? Order another to try a different print placement? (I bought three Kate Spade dresses before I was happy with the print placement, but it was worth it in the end).

ETA: I added some catalog pics so you can see what it's supposed to look like on models. And here's a solid red dress from TJ Maxx that I own, for comparison.
